Simon Spinks, the Managing Director of Harrison Spinks has been formally appointed as the new president of the National Bed Federation (NBF). Simon has taken over from Vogue Beds managing director Ebrahim Patel after he served two years in the role. This is Simons second time at being NBF President of the bed industrys recognised trade association, the NBF.
Commenting on his appointment, Simon said: Im honoured to have been elected President for a second time and look forward to steering our association through what will be an uncertain economic climate in the short term. There are many challenges ahead for the UK bed industry but by working together we can face these challenges with optimism.
Simon was appointed at the NBFs annual Spring Forum on 27th April, which was attended by more than 100 delegates. The NBF objects to be the voice of the UK bed industry, aiming to educate and further the interests of the bed industry whilst also promoting the benefits and wellbeing of quality sleep.
