12pm-14pm, Friday, 21 February
E3R, Plover Road, Huddersfield, HD3 3HR
Made Equal campaign has relaunched in November 2019 with the goal of increasing productivity, profitability and future-proofing your workforce with a focus on every aspect of diversity and inclusivity, ranging from gender to the skill-gap, and diversity to age, to name just a few.
Across the UK manufacturing and engineering sector, there are widespread concerns around the diversity and equality of the manufacturing sector.
From an ageing workforce and an insufficient number of skilled people to the lacking number of woman and individuals from diverse backgrounds or with disabilities. Yet, despite the availability of a strong talent pool it’s crucial to target these groups to improve productivity and grow more quickly.
By having an inclusive and diverse workforce, manufacturing organisations can benefit from a variety of views and perspectives, allowing them to find more creative solutions and harness different talents to be more successful. Not only is it proven that organisations that are more diverse and inclusive perform better and are ultimately more profitable, nowadays many suppliers will only work with buyers who have a clear and identifiable inclusion and diversity policy.
These member-only events occur on a quarterly basis and encourage discussion that is spearheaded by speakers. So, come join us on the second Made Equal and first in Yorkshire on the 21st of February at MIY patron E3R’s premises for a discussion about diversity and inclusivity.
E3R encourage an inclusive working culture and stakeholder engagement which is supported by them receiving an Inclusivity Award for their work undertaken in this area, presented in the House of Lords, and also testified by the latest results of our employee engagement survey. E3R is at the forefront of providing manufacturing and engineering personnel across the UK and provide a wide range of temporary, permanent and contract solutions across multiple sectors, from the shop floor through to senior exec appointments.
