Made in Group, including both Made in the Midlands, and Made in Yorkshire is launching a brand new, year-long campaign designed to act as a beacon of unity, and to restore confidence in Britain.

The second Backing Britain Event and also first Backing Britain event in Yorkshire event will be taking place at Made in Yorkshire member premises  Outokumpu Stainless, located in Sheffield, on the 29th of November, 2019.

The event will include presentations from industry leaders on how manufacturers across the nation can promote British industry to safeguard its future and create a lasting legacy. Also after the event a factory tour will be available.

Speaking about the upcoming launch of the campaign, the founder and Director of the Made in Group, Jason Pitt said;

“This is a time for manufacturers to create an example of unity, to inspire and restore confidence in Britain. Our new Backing Britain campaign will visit major cities and towns in the midlands and Yorkshire over the next 12 months. These events will be open to members and non-members and feature speakers from the membership and inspiration stories.”

Please note, this event is open to all Made in Yorkshire member businesses, one ticket per company. Each ticket holder will be kindly asked to invite a VIP guest of their choice from a fellow manufacturing and engineering business inside the Yorkshire region to attend.

All the money collected from the tickets will go to the charity very close to the company heart - Rotherham Hospice (700356) 

Parking guidance

Security department will man the barrier, tick the names off and then direct everyone to the allocated parking.

The event is to be held on site at conference centre called “The Brearley Centre”.
